Reference Letter for Paul Brinton The following is a reference letter for Paul Brinton. Paul was first referred to us by my father. We were buying our first house and did not know anything about real estate and we really needed someone that would teach us and help us understand the market and what to look for. When I first connected with Paul, I had actually found out that Paul was first introduced to my father through my sister as he had helped her purchase her first home. This helped me feel that I could rely on Paul and that he also had years of experience. By the time we had our first conversation; Paul had already done some homework into the areas we were interested in as he was informed by my father which was a nice surprise. This meant that we could go ahead and already start right away. He sent the portal to us right away which allowed us to view house. After this, we were able to connect with Paul whenever we needed regardless of the time of day. This allowed me and my husband to easily change search criteria if needed. When we first begun to view houses, we found Paul to be accommodating in the viewing times and also flexible if there was a house that we wanted to see sooner. He was always able to get a hold of by phone and email. We saw a number of houses with Paul and one thing that we really appreciated was that he was not in a rush to sell us the first house we saw, it was actually the opposite and often Paul would ask us hard questions about a house we might be interested in to really make sure that we wanted it. He knew what we were looking for and this allowed him to guide us in the right direction even if we were swayed by something else. Because of Paul putting our needs first as opposed to a fast sale, we were finally able to find the right house for us. When it came to purchasing our home, Paul acted quickly to allow us to be first to view the house and put in an offer that night. He also acted quickly and aggressively in the negotiations stage. This helped put our minds at ease, as we knew the process would not take too long. When it came to closing Paul was very helpful and informative. It was a blessing that I was referred to Paul when looking for a dependable realtor who is familiar with estate sale. There were 4 obvious challenges: 1) a down housing market in Calgary, 2) selling the house under a probate, 3) the personal representative of the will (me) lives outside Canada, and 4) the house required a good amount of fix up. In spite of numerous challenges, the house was sold within 2 weeks after being listed and at a price that is more than hoped for.
